A (re)Wilding Love Letter to 2020



This turning of a new decade

has been a special one for many of us,

inspiring bold plans & turning the page to a new chapter

full of possibilities for our own lives and for the collective.


This past year of stepping into my mission and solopreneurship has been both exhilarating, and uncomfortable at times, but I am evolving, learning as I go, and refining what it means for me to (re)Wild in this modern world.


The messaging and conditioning we receive in this culture is almost always 'go big or go home', over-masculinized, ego-centric, and fear-based. While there have been many victories that have come from this approach, there has also been unspeakable destruction of our collective wellbeing, our sense of community, the earth, and each of our individual mind.bodies.hearts & souls.


Over decades of quietly witnessing, listening, synthesizing, and contemplating, I am now vehemently taking a stand against this very real unraveling and proposing that perhaps it's time to take a step back in order to usher in a giant leap forward in our evolution.


2020: The Year of (re)Wilding

I am doubling down on (re)Wilding from this moment forward and heading into a personal, yearlong, deep study of (re)Wilding and cultivating Wild Feminine Leadership in my own life.


I will be sharing this journey with you and I am inviting you to join me along the way.


In the Wild at Heart community, we will be asking ourselves, again and again:"What is the wild way of doing this or being in the world?"


And by wild I mean:

  1. Am I aligning myself with the wisdom of nature with my food choices, my sleep habits, my home environment, my free time, my stress resilience strategies, and my movement for not just my own wellbeing, but also as a role model for others around me who are struggling. (Or am I swept up in the unhealthy habits and marketing campaigns of an (un)well culture?)

  2. How is my intuition, God, and/or the universe guiding me to be in alignment with my highest purpose and the greater good? (Or do I feel as though it is just me against the world and I need to focus on just surviving another day?)

  3. Am I cultivating stillness in my life through mindfulness practices and time spent with nature in order to hear, not just with my ears, but also with my inner-knowing and heart? (Or am I numbing myself 24-7 with technology, consumption, and to-do lists to avoid the emptiness I feel from participating in culture norms that are no longer serving me?)

  4. Am I cultivating my relationship with nature so that she knows I am not only bearing witness to her pain and destruction, but am also still in love with her and her beauty, the teachings she is offering to me daily, and trying my best to tread more lightly to honor her? (Or am I turning away from earth-violence because it is too painful for me to witness and I have no idea how to stop it?)

  5. How can I measure my success in increments of wellbeing and approach this project, task, or problem at hand with my and others' wellbeing in mind? (Or am I still feeling seduced by collective ego and the veil of wrong-thinking that a triple bottom line, people, planet, profit, doesn't exist or matter?)

  6. How is what I am about to do or say (in person or on social media) contributing something of real value to the greater good? (Or am I just creating more noise, seeking attention, reacting to fear of missing out, or even worse, fanning the flames of compare/compete/consume?)


In the spirit of a (r)Evolution of (re)Wilding . . .


I have created the 'Wild Reset' Program to guide and support you every step of the way as we co-create a well culture together.


Each month we will be taking a deep dive into one of the 12 themes of (re)Wilding. You can begin anytime, as each theme stands alone, but you will build on your successes each month.


This is not a quick fix program! We are cultivating lifelong, value-based lifestyle changes that will transform how we think, feel, and show up in this world as wild and well women, ultimately transforming our families, our communities, and the collective culture as a whole.
